Barrier layer against discoloration: The barrier layer is classified for the intended case of discoloration; it is neither a general cleaner nor an independent coat of paint. Leather preparation creates the basis for a suitable repair and color build-up. The preparation influences the adhesion of the subsequent layers; it cannot be replaced by more paint.
