The dense microfiber absorbs plenty of wash foam and glides gently over the paint. At 18 × 27 cm with an elastic cuff, it provides a secure fit. Practical tip from Detailing1: Microfiber washes faster than wool but is less forgiving of mistakes — the fibers hold onto sand more tightly, which is why a wash bucket with a grit guard is a must, not an option. We rinse the mitt in clean water after every panel and squeeze it out against the guard. If it ever falls on the ground, it is out of the race until it has been washed — a mitt with sand from the ground is the most common cause of scratches.

Application: Plenty of foam, grit guard in the bucket

Work with plenty of foam and rinse the mitt regularly — ideally with "S1" Wash&Coat. A wash bucket with a grit guard protects against scratches.

Limitations: Washing technique is key

No wash mitt is scratch-free if the method is lacking — pre-wash, two buckets, and a grit guard remain mandatory. For drying afterwards, use a "Micron XXL".

Care

After use, wash with "SM" Micron Shampoo, without fabric softener.
