The Koch-Chemie Marine Protective Sealant Sm0.01 is a high-quality spray sealant from Koch-Chemie's Marine line, specially developed for the protection and care of gelcoat and boat paint surfaces. The 100% transparent formula ensures a velvety, even finish with intense color depth and a pronounced beading effect. Ideal for use in saltwater environments, this product offers protection against new dirt and weathering, including UV-induced yellowing, for up to half a season – depending on use, care, and prevailing conditions.

Application and Finish
Applying Marine Protective Sealant Sm0.01 is straightforward: After cleaning and, if necessary, polishing the surface, the product is sprayed onto a suitable cloth and applied evenly in a cross-hatch pattern. Then, the area is buffed with a clean microfiber cloth. The result is a high-gloss, velvety surface with intense color depth and a pronounced beading effect. The sealant effectively protects the treated surfaces from new dirt and weather influences.
Protection Duration and Care
The product offers protection for up to half a season, depending on use, care, and prevailing conditions. For optimal protection duration, the boat should be cleaned regularly with a neutral shampoo. The sealant can be renewed as needed to maintain protection.
Compatibility and Supplementary Products
The Marine Protective Sealant Sm0.01 is compatible with all products in the Koch-Chemie Marine line. It is excellent as a topper for the Ceramic Boat Hull to maximize protection and shine. For surface preparation before application, the use of Hull PreCleaners and Gelcoat Polishes is recommended to ensure optimal adhesion and effectiveness of the sealant.
