How Q² View EVO changes the physics of your glass

Glass is naturally a polar surface with high surface tension – water spreads out in flat puddles. GYEON Q² View EVO covers that surface with an apolar SiO₂ layer that drops the surface tension considerably. The result: on coated glass, water forms spherical droplets (a very high contact angle) that slide off at the slightest vibration or breeze. Add wind on the move and that slide-off speeds right up – droplets get blown off the glass as an aerosol instead of hanging around as a film. The EVO update tunes the SiO₂ concentration for a more intense effect and improves resistance to washer fluids, which quickly break down the effect of simpler glass coatings over time.

Application: laying Q² View EVO onto vehicle glass properly

For the best results, first clean and degrease the glass thoroughly with Q²M Glass. On badly weathered glass, polish first with Q²M GlassPolish. Then apply Q² View EVO to the glass with an applicator or microfibre cloth, let it flash off briefly (1–3 minutes) and buff it out evenly with a clean microfibre cloth. On the windscreen, work panel by panel. After application, don't wash the car or expose it to rain for at least 1 hour. Only use the wiper once it's fully cured – running the wiper too early can cause smearing. Full cure after 12–24 hours.

Where it fits: which glass and vehicles benefit most?
